Three women in different phases of life—an octogenarian at the onset of dementia, a middle-aged and overwhelmed mother, and a young woman stepping into adulthood—emerge from the crowd to issue relatable grievances with, by turns, resentment, humor, and grace. Viewers familiar with Tribe’s work may recognize these characters from her Standardized Patient, 2017, commissioned by SFMoMA.
